On Friday, 26th September, I had the opportunity to attend The Agriexpo Korea 2025. I got to experience organic foods that were both healthy and delicious. I was able to visit various booths such as: 🥛 K Milk booth where I got to taste a variety of milk flavours from vanilla, banana to even sweet potato and corn, which was pretty interesting. 🍜K Ramyeon Library, where I saw various ramyeon brands and flavours that I will definitely try. 🦗Insect Industry Centre booth where I saw and touched some horn beetles and silk worms. There were some cooked insects to try, which I did not. (I have tried termites before, and I was not a fan of insects crunch). However, I did love how they explained the concept of Ecofood. 🍸K Liquor booth where I tried Makgeolli (one of Korea's oldest alcoholic beverages) for the first time. Makgeolli is a traditional Korean fermented rice wine known for its cloudy, milky appearance. I learnt so much about its preparation process and tried flavours such as apricot, strawberry, and lemon. 🚜Smart Agriculture booths - Korea's agricultural sector is highly mechanised and efficient, and it was fascinating to see the ways in which AI is being incorporated in agriculture. 🥗Flower infused dressings booth, yoghurt booth, soybean bread booth, peanut butter booth where I tasted organic foods that were truly made with love. 🧉Kombucha booth - this was one of my favourite booths as I got to taste really fizzy kombucha that was Basil flavoured as a lover of Basil's herbal and earthy taste. I tried the green tea and black tea base kombucha, which were amazing. 🧄Premium Extract Black garlic and Ginseng booths where I got to try some healthy remedies and actually see ginseng for the first time in person. This event allowed me to experience new tastes and learn more about the effort and work that goes into providing Korea with healthy organic foods👌🏾
