What a fun and exciting day at the Boryeong Mud Festival! I only wished the day was longer to keep having more fun. I never thought I'd be sitting here looking forward to the next time I can spend a whole day covered in mud! I just can't believe I've gone this long in Korea without having ever been. Don't be like me and wait for "next year". Hop on a bus or train from Seoul to Daecheon beach from July 25th to August 10th this year and, for a reasonably small fee of 10,000 won for weekdays and 14,000 won for weekends, you can join in the fun too. Or, if you're a foreigner in Korea, look up Funday Korea Networks and join them next time! Activities include a mud obstacle course, wrestling, pools, volleyball, slides, concerts a black eagles air show, and so much more! There's even small sponsored booths that give away free stuff!
