The Gwangju Ceramic Festival in Gyeonggi-do offered a chance to explore Korean traditions. We attended a detailed lecture about ceramic art, followed by a practical workshop where participants shaped their own pottery. There was also a short but elegant Korean tea ceremony, which was peaceful and calming. Traditional dishes like kimchi jeon and makgeolli added to the cultural immersion. The setting was quiet and the pace was slow, which made the experience feel a bit dull at times. Still, for someone interested in Korean crafts and traditions, it was a valuable and unique opportunity to see local artistry in action.
