I had an amazing one-day trip to the Gwangju Royal Ceramics Festival (광주왕실도자기축제)🏺. It was a perfect mix of Korean heritage, creativity, and good vibes! One of the highlights was a ceramics workshop, where we tried pottery-making. I made my own ramen bowl - from shaping it on the wheel to adding little details by hand. Once it dries and gets fired, it’ll be shipped to me by mail, and I honestly can’t wait to see the final result 🙌🏻 The festival also featured beautiful exhibitions of Korean ceramics, including Joseon-era porcelain and colorful glazed pieces. There were local crafts, a flea market, traditional performances, and even a royal parade! Big thanks to Funday Korea Networks for organizing this tour for foreigners 💕 It was truly a beautiful way to explore Korean culture and get hands-on with its artistic traditions.
