Jinju is located in the southern Korean peninsula. I went from Seoul to Jinju by Express Bus (it took about 5-6 travel hours). I would say Jinju looks like the city of Seoul with fewer people. It is a city, not a countryside, so the access is easily understood. There are buses and taxis for local transportation.

Spare enough time to walk around the fortress. The best time to visit after 3 pm to enjoy the sunset view and city light view.
